The state of Illinois presented Robert Louis Allen with a law license in 1991.
The Disciplinary Commission found Bob guilty of the following misconduct.
During the time that he was employed as an escrow agent in a residential real estate transaction, Bobby improperly released to his client $30,000 in funds that he personally held.
However, Bobby did not obtain the required authority of the trial court or the other party involved in the escrow account.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Bob by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. December 2013) Bobby practices at 9724 South Hamilton in Chicago, Illinois.
