The state of Michigan presented with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School.

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, the personal representative for a decedent’s estate hired Tommy to probate the estate, which consisted of a home, personal possessions and a single bank account.

 

After the sale of the home was completed, Tommy didn’t perform any work on behalf of his client for the next 18 months.

 

In another matter, OLR began an investigation based on a newspaper article sent to it, which related to Tommy’s representation of a criminal defendant in a felony case. The article reported that Tommy had been removed from the case after failing to appear at a motion hearing at which both the defendant and the DA indicated they could not achieve contact with Tommy.

 

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Tommy’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with yet another complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2013) Tom practices with the Fink Law Offices at 319 Winnebago Avenue in Menasha, Wisconsin.
