Attorney James Schultz of New Britain, CT; ethical dwarf
The state of Connecticut provided James J. Schultz with a law license in 1981
The Statewide Grievance Committee found James guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Jimmy represented Brian Beaulieu in a criminal matter. During the representation, Brian agreed to sell his car to Robert Murphy for $2,000. Shortly thereafter Brian accepted $1,500 in merchandise in lieu of cash towards the purchase of his car and provided Mr. Murphy with a bill of sale.
Mr. Murphy then took possession of the car and Brian agreed to turn over the title to the car once Murphy paid the remaining $500. Subsequently, Jimmy obtained a duplicate key for the car and illegally seized it.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished James by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. November 2013) James practices at 164 Belridge Road in New Britain, Connecticut.
