Attorney Richard Johnson of Payson, AZ; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Richard B. Johnson with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Richard guilty of misconduct as set forth below.
  • Failed to properly consult with client
  • Collected and/or charged an excessive fee
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Made a false statement of material fact to a trial court
  • Failed to act fairly in regards to opposing counsel
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with yet another complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2013) Richard practices at 1003 North Rosewood Circle in Payson, Arizona.

Warning: Richard doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
