The state of California provided David Joseph Carriere with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of San Francisco Law School.
The California State Bar Court found David guilty of the following misconduct.
David saw fit to not comply with the conditions of a complimentary public reproval he received in 2010 by failing to provide proof of taking and passing the MPRE (Multi-state Professional Responsibility Examination).
Dave’s public reproval came about after his conviction for domestic battery and brandishing a weapon.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.
In truth, the comedians sitting on the California Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to David.
