Attorney Charles Hill of Houston; convicted felon

The state of Texas presented Charles Ernest Hill with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.

Charlie pleaded no contest (guilty in effect) to felony insurance fraud in an amount upwards of $20,000.

Charlie was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication, ordered to $14,683 in restitution and court costs, and to perform 120 hours of community service.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished by Charles gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2013) Charles practices at 3702 Gardendale Drive in Houston, Texas.
