Attorney Owen Chambers of New Brunswick, NJ; perjurer

The state of New Jersey presented Owen Chambers with a law license in 2000.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Owen guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Conduct constituted gross neglect
  3. Failed to communicate with client
  4. Failed to safeguard client’s property
  5. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigation (Up Yours, said Owen!)
  6. Lied under oath (perjury) during a disciplinary hearing
Because Attorney Misfits in New Jersey are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Owen was never criminally charged for perjury.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Owen by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2013) Owen practices at 243 Hamilton Street in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
