Judge Tim Grendell of Chardon, OH; Judge Roy Bean Wannabee

FYI: Judge Roy Bean was a saloon-keeper and Justice of the Peace in Val Verde County, Texas, who called himself “The Law West of the Pecos.” Roy was also affectionately referred to by some as a “Hanging Judge.”

The state of Ohio presented Timothy Joseph Grendell with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Case Western University Law School in Cleveland, Ohio.

In 2012, Gov. John Kasich was duped into appointing Timmy as the Geauga County Probate/Juvenile Court judge to replace Judge Charles Henry.

Timmy didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Chardon area. He received it because he had spent a lifetime acting as a compliant lackey for the local political hacks.

Prior to ascending to the bench, Timmy was a State Senator and/or Representative for 12 years.  Timmy’s wife Diane was a state legislator from 1992 to 1999. She then succeeded in duping the voters into electing her as a Court of Appeals Judge. In truth, Timmy and Diane have been porking out at the public trough for the past 21 years.

As of 2013, Diane receives $132,000 and Timmy $121,350 in annual pay from Ohio taxpayers. It is fairly obvious, that no self-respecting law firm in the greater Cleveland area was about to offer Diane or Timmy a good paying job.

Recently, Judge Grendell decided to impose his so-called his morality on Time Warner Cable TV in regards to a commercial it was airing in the greater Cleveland area. Timmy claimed that Time Warner’s ad was promoting parental neglect and not parental responsibility.

The ad portrays a father telling his son to go outside to play during a thunderstorm while he continues to watch a football game. Timmy then sent a letter to Time Warner CEO Robert D. Marcus demanding that he pull the ad off the air. A copy of Timmy’s letter was posted on the website of WKYC-3 TV in Cleveland and be found at: http://tinyrul.com/lv9hhk5.

Apparently, Timmy doesn’t possess the intellect to understand that Time Warner is in business to make money and in order to do that, they are compelled to advertise their product.

According to Timmy and Diane’s bios, they don’t have any children. Therefore, it is laughable at best for Timmy to lecture Robert D. Marcus and Time Warner on how to properly rear children. Put simply, does any reasonably intelligent person really give a damn what Timmy thinks about the manner in which Time Warner promotes its programming?

In the future, Timmy may want to invoke his 5th Amendment right to remain silent rather than confirm the fact that he never was really qualified to sit in judgment of anyone.
