Attorney Charles Firestein of Phoenix; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Charles L. Firestein with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to consult with client to afford client to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Failed to cooperate with bar investigators (Up Yours, said Charlie!)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Made misrepresentations (lied) to Bar investigators

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Charles by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), Charles practices at 7227 North 16th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
