Attorney Timothy Shimko of Cleveland; repeat offender

The state of Ohio presented Timothy Andrew Shimko with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found John guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  2. Made statements he knew were false or with reckless disregard for the truth
  3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administratin of justice
  4. Made false allegations of misconduct against a judge

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Timmy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Timmy.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), Timothy practices with Timothy A. Shimko & Associates at 1801 East 9th Street in Cleveland, Ohio.
