Attorney Louis Vasquez of Fresno; Dumbo, repeat offender

The state of California provided Louis Esteban Vasquez with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Law School. .

The California State Bar Court found Lawrence guilty of the following misconduct.

Louis’ 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to perform legal services on client’s behalf
• Failed to promptly return client papers to client
• Failed to respond to client inquiries
• Failed to cooperate with disciplinary agency (Up Yours, said Louis!)
  

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Louis by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

• Failed to provide competent legal services (Dumbo)
• Failed to promptly return client papers to client
• Failed to respond to client inquiries
• Failed to cooperate with
  

In one matter, Louis was hired to represent a client in connection with an IRS audit and to negotiate favorable terms of a judgment issued against him by an insurance company. Louis failed to forward documentation to the IRS, which led to the assessment of a $100,000 penalty against his business.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Louis by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013) Louis is employed with the California Attorney General’s Office at 2550 Mariposa Mall in Fresno, California.
