Attorney George Garcia II of Laredo; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented George Victor Garcia II with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

The District 12 Grievance Committee found George guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely surrender client file to client after being discharged

As one would suspect, this wasn’t George’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary stayed suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), George practices with the Law Offices of George G. Garcia at 1119 Park Street in Laredo, Texas.
