Attorney Kevin Barry of Chicago; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Kevin J. Barry with a law license in 1994

The Disciplinary Commission found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Kevin prepared a will for an elderly client, but failed to have it properly witnessed.

Kevin then illegally affixed the signature of a purported witness to the will and had his secretary illegally notarize the document.

After the client died, Kevin then agreed to represent the estate executor, and filed the invalid will with the probate court.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013) Kevin practices with The Barry Law Group PC at 3551 West 111th Street in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Kevin does not carry legal malpractice insurance
