► Attorney John Ray of Baton Rouge; repeat offender

The state of Louisiana presented John D. Ray with a law license in 1999

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found John guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Repeatedly engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  2. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  3. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  4. Knowingly violated duty owed to clients
  5. Failed to comply with Supreme Court registration rules
As one would suspect, this was John’s 1st Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca) August 2013) John is employed by the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
