Judge Donna Phillips of London, Ontario; lying loser Judge Phillips has served as a Justice of the Peace in London, Ontario, Canada since 1993.
The Justices of the Peace Review Council found Donna guilty of the following misconduct.
Judge Phillips was riding in a car driven by her daughter when they were pulled over for running a red light. Donna’s daughter, Maryanne Kechego, did not have her driver’s license with her and gave a fake name and birth date to a London police officer.
Kechego told the officer that her aunt was a justice of the peace and could vouch for her identity as “Kelly Titchner.”
The review council ruled that Phillips claimed that the driver was her niece. The lie lasted less than an hour when police discovered that Kechego lied that her license was in a storage unit because there was no storage unit.
At the time of the police stop, Kechego’s driving license was suspended and there were outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Within hours, Judge Phillips admitted that Kechego was her daughter and not her niece as she falsely told the police.
All that’s left now is to see what punishment is meted out to Judge Phillips.
