Judge Craig Fowler of Dallas; scofflaw, moron, ethically inept

Unfortunately, Judge Craig Fowler of Dallas is a sitting judge in the Family Court in Dallas. This is akin to having the late Jeffrey Dahmer appointed as an aggressive advocate for a “vegetarian diet.”

In 2001, Judge Craig Fowler employed a close attorney-friend, at a nominal fee (aka, exorbitant), in a contested probate matter that involved the estate of his deceased mother.

Judge Craig Fowler also appointed the same attorney-friend as guardian ad-litem to a lucrative, private-pay custody dispute in his court. After only two months as guardian ad litem, the attorney (aka, corrupt charged more than $72,000 in fees and costs, all of which were approved by Craig as “reasonable and necessary” despite evidence to the contrary.

$72,000 for two months equals $5,760 a week. At $145 an hour, this clown would have spent 8 hours a day for 40 consecutive days working on this custody dispute case, which is of course a total fabrication. If ya believe this, then ya would likely believe that the late Pope John II did in fact nominate Madonna to act as his chief spokesperson for the efficacy of monogamous relationships.

Texas Judicial Commission Findings

The Texas Judicial Commission found that the fees charged by the attorney in the Judge Craig Fowler’s estate action were “significantly less” than the fair market value of the work performed.  Put simply, this dirtbag (my sincerest apologies to well-intentioned dirt-bags) was allowing his attorney-friend to rip-off his Mother’s estate and the other heirs (family members).

The commission also found that the fees charged in the guardian ad litem matter “significantly exceeded” the fair market value of the work actually performed.

The enablers and apologists working for the Texas Judicial Commission discovered that the actual time and resources expended in the probate matter were “not accurately reflected” (false) in records produced to the commission during its inquiry.

The commission found that, during his involvement in the custody case, the attorney told the parties and their counsel that he had a great deal of influence with Judge Craig Fowler and they would receive favorable rulings from him because of their close relationship. Is that cool or what?

A review of court records in the custody case revealed that the attorney did in fact receive favorable treatment and rulings from Judge Craig Fowler,

The only thing the enablers and apologists at the Judicial Commission didn’t address was the amount of bribe money that Judge received from this crooked lawyer, a lawyer that the commission conveniently failed to name. Are we to believe that Craig allowed this crook to cheat his clients without demanding his fair share of the booty?

Well, I suppose it wouldn’t have been fair to publicly name this crook, right? After all, it could have limited his ability in the future to make a dishonest living.

Judge Craig Fowler’s 2006 re-election bid

Believe it or not, this ethical dwarf had the chutzpah to seek reelection. One would think that anyone with an I.Q. higher than the legal speed limit in a school zone would have told Judge Craig Fowler to take a hike. Sadly, the voters in Dallas apparently lacked such expertise in that they elected this clown (my apologies to clowns) re-elected this ethical dwarf.

In early 2006, the Dallas Morning News submitted a questionnaire to Judge Craig Fowler. Below are examples of his hyperbolic (aka, BS) responses.

News:            What prompted you to run for this office?

Craig: My desire to serve the people of Dallas County and to continue making a positive difference in the lives of its children and families.

News:            What political leaders do you admire, and why?

Craig: I admire leaders with integrity, dignity, forthrightness, strength of character, and high ethical and moral standards.

Truthful answers to Dallas Morning News

If he was honest and not a big time lair and bull-shitter, Craig would have answered as follows:

News:            What prompted you to run for this office?

Craig: My desire to award unearned (fabricated) fees to my attorney friends, thereby allowing them to make larger contributions to my campaign.

News:            What political leaders do you admire, and why?

Craig: Ex-Louisiana Governor Huey Long because of my admiration for his high ethical standards and ability to enrich himself at the expense of others.

Judge Craig Fowler’s Questionable Campaign Conduct

On April 24, 2006, Mr. Ethics (that’d be Craig according to him) was fined $500 by the Texas Ethics Commission, which he paid with campaign funds. Put simply, Craig’s ethical violations didn’t cost him a dime!

Judge Craig Fowler’s phony resume

In a resume posted on the Dallas Bar Association (aka, Judicial Pimp Association) website, the pimps make the following hyperbolic (aka, BS) comments:

“He knows from experience that, given what is at stake, the practice of family law can take a toll on lawyers. He has a lot of respect for lawyers who practice regularly in his court, and feels that family lawyers are generally hard-working and conscientious.”

If the truth meant anything to the pimps at the Bar they should have rightfully said:

“He knows from experience that, it is desirable to hose litigants in his court by awarding unearned fees to lawyers. He has a lot of respect for lawyers who regularly cheat their clients by asking him to award them fees for hours never worked or for services they never performed.
