Attorney Richard Fischer of Detroit; thief

The state of Michigan provided Richard Fischer with a law license in 1961 after he graduated from Michigan State University Law School.

A disciplinary hearing panel found Richard guilty of the following misconduct.

Richard found it acceptable to misappropriate (steal) $5,000 from an estate to pay his own personal obligations.

Because Attorney Misfits in Michigan are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Richard was never criminally prosecuted for grand theft.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2013) Richard practices at 18535 East Warren Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.
