Attorney David Sostchin of Hialeah, FL; repeat offender

 
The state of Florida presented David M. Sostchin with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University of Law School.
 
The Florida State Bar found David guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Advertisement contained false or misleading representations
  2. Falsely advertised that the Florida Dept of Foreclosure Resolution listed him as Board Certified
  3. Assisted others in engaging in the illegal practice of law
  4. Knowingly failed to submit proposed advertisement to Florida State Bar before broadcasting same
  5. Advertisements contained prohibited promises of success to prospective clients (victims)
As one would suspect, this wasn’t David’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. The comedians sitting on the Florida Supreme Court previously punished David as follows:
  • 2005 – Complimentary admonishment for neglecting a client matter
  • 2006 – Complimentary reprimand for misrepresenting the telephone number of his firm’s’ ticket practice
As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits in Florida sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a second 2nd complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. July 2013) David practices at 797 West 18th Street in Hialeah, Florida.
