Attorney Mary Marrison of Colorado Springs; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Mary Patricia Marrison with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Law School. Mary received her law license from the State of Colorado in 1991.

The Colorado State Bar found Mary guilty of the following misconduct. Reinstated

In one matter, Mary represented a client on a personal injury case. Mary improperly drafted a retainer agreement in a contingency fee case. Mary had the chutzpah to actually charge her client (victim) interest on an account without ever obtaining an agreement from the client allowing her to so act. Mary also tried to collect a contingent fee from the same client after he fired her. What a Gal!

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary private censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Mary practices with The Marrison Law Firm at 225 East Cheyenne Mountain Blvd in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
