Attorney Warren Brown of Montrose, CA; ethical leprechaun

The state of California provided Warren Leon Brown with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in Los Angeles.

The State Bar Court found Warren guilty of misconduct.

Warren was hired by a client who was a secured creditor in a bankruptcy matter. Warren failed to provide the client with a written fee agreement, but he agreed to bill his services at $250 per hour.

After 10 months, Warren ended his employment and the client demanded an accounting of his fees. Warrant did not provide the accounting despite repeated requests from the client. He also failed to return the client’s file to the client after he was fired.

And finally, Warren failed to cooperate with State Bar investigators. In truth, Warren said, Up Yours!.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Warren by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Warren practices with the Law Offices of Warren Brown at 2929 Verdugo Blvd in Montrose, California, which is located in the Los Angeles area.
