Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA): Today’s  “Lunatic” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA)
Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner

Tommy succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Lackawanna, Pennsylvania area into electing him as a U.S. Representative in November 2010.

Tommy is yet another attorney who apparently couldn’t make a decent living practicing law that decided that the $174,000 congressional salary was more then he’d ever earn as an attorney.

During an interview on July 11, 2013, Loony Tom said that he was exploring avenues by which members of Congress could try to pursue criminal charges against President Obama. The Loon’s claim of criminal conduct relates to Obama’s recent announcement of delaying implementation of certain aspects of Obamacare.

The Loon spewed forth the following hyperbolic (BS) comments:
  • “We’re beyond the point of showing that he’s [Obama] incompetent.”
  • “He really doesn’t care about where this country is going unless it’s his plan, so we have to step up.”
The Loon then compared Obama’s action to the Watergate scandal, arguing that a special committee should be established to subpoena and investigate the individuals involved.

In an effort to cement his status as a Moronic Lunatic, the Loon then said he’s planning a “brainstorming discussion” with some other former prosecutors in Congress about what measures the legislature can take against Obama. This brainstorming group would be comprised of members whose I.Q. is equal to or just a tad below the legal speed limit in a school zone.

Tom the Loon is infamous in Pennsylvania for engaging in questionable conduct. In 2007, Tommy resigned as U.S. Attorney following allegations of corruption. In addition, while acting as Lycoming County DA, Tommy attempted to expunge a friend’s drug conviction behind the back of a county judge who had refused to toss the case.

Does anyone other than a bigoted Lunatic like Tommy really give a damn what he has to say?

Congrats Tommy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Least Admired “Lunatics”; you are far too humble.
