Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA): Today’s “Liar” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)
Today’s “Liar” Award Winner

Darrell Issa succeeded in duping the voters in the Carlsbad, California area into initially electing him to the U.S. Congress in November 2000 where he has unfortunately remained through 2013.

In addition to being Congenital Liar, Darrell is also an accomplished Lunatic, Moron, Screwball and Aspiring Standup Comedian.

After the GOP took control of the U.S. House in January 2011, Darrell was appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which led him to vow to investigate Obama by holding “seven hearings a week, times 40 weeks.”

When it was reported that IRS agents in Cincinnati were allegedly targeting Tea Party organizations for special scrutiny in regards to their applications for tax exempt status, Darrell put on his Loony Conspiracy hat and immediately setup numerous hearings on the matter costing the taxpayers millions of dollars.

On June 2, 2013, Darrell appeared on and called White House press secretary Jay Carney “a paid liar” and accused the White House of directing the Tea Party Targeting. As usual Darrell used selected excerpts of testimony by IRS agents in Cincinnati to support his false rants.

The next Sunday Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-SC) appeared on CNN with Crowley, and called on Darrell to release the full transcripts and told her “I’m willing to come on your show next week with the chairman with the transcripts if he agrees to do that. If he doesn’t, I’ll release them by the end of the week.”

On the same day (June 9, 2013), Cummings released a transcript of an interview with a self-described “conservative Republican” IRS manager in Cincinnati who told the committee under oath that Washington had nothing do with the inquiry. “I do not believe that the screening of these cases had anything to do with the inquiry.”

Darrel the Loon then sent Rep. Cummings a nasty three-page letter calling Cummings “reckless, irresponsible and obstructionist” for releasing the transcript of the interview with the IRS’s Cincinnati manager. The Loon went on tell Cummings his release of the transcript was irresponsible and emblematic of his general aversion to conducting meaningful oversight of the Obama Administration.

I would disrespectfully suggest that Darrell the Loon mosey over to the nearest bathroom mirror in the Capitol and while peering at it say, “Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the Biggest Asshole of them all?”

For Darrell to offer up any criticism of anyone is quite offensive to say the least. This disgusting individual is the proud owner of the following record:

1980 – Indicted for grand theft auto – subsequently DA dropped the case
1971 – Fellow solder Jay Bergey accused Darrell of stealing his Dodge Charger and the day after he confronted Darrell his Charger was magically found abandoned on the turnpike
1972 – Indicted by grand jury for stealing a Maserati – DA later dropped the case
1972 – Convicted of carrying an unregistered concealed weapon in his glove compartment

Additionally, in 1982, the offices and factory of Darrell’s car alarm business caught fire with most of the inventory being destroyed. An investigation noted “suspicious burn patters” with fires starting in two placed aided by an accelerant such as gasoline. Three weeks before the fire, Darrell increased the fire insurance policy by 462%. The insurer was suspicious of arson and paid Darrell only about 10% of the insured amount.

As Yogi Berra was want to say, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t believe anything a lying loser like Darrell has to say about anything or anybody.

Hopefully, the day will come when the voters in Orange County, California wise up and send this Lunatic packing.

Congrats Darrell; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most unaccomplished Standup Comedians; you are far too humble.
