Judge Joe Grieshop of Harlan, KY; thief

Harlan County Judge-Executive Joe Grieshop was recently arrested on burglary, theft and official misconduct charges.
Sheriff Marvin J. Lipfird, who arrested Joey on June 11, 2013, said the Joey was later released on bond.
Sheriff Lipfird said the investigation is continuing into Joey’s criminal conduct and that a preliminary hearing will be held shortly. Lipfird went on to say that other people in addition to Joey may also be charged.
The arrest warrant charged Joey with third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, ten (10) counts of retaliating against a participant in a legal process and one count of first-degree official misconduct.
Sure must be comforting to the folks in the Harlan County, Kentucky area to know that there is yet another crooked judge in their midst.
All that’s left now is to wait and see if Joey receives the punishment he so richly deserves.
