Attorney Kelly Christensen of San Diego; ethical goblin

The state of California provided Kelly David Christensen with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Syracuse University Law College..
  • Failed to perform legal services for clients
  • Failed to refund advance fees (cheater)
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law
The State Bar Court found Kelly guilty 15 counts of misconduct in eight matters as set forth below.

Kelly owned Financial Solutions Law Group (FSLG) and hired himself to provide legal services through his business. Four matters involved Kelly illegally practicing law in North Carolina, Florida and Maryland.

In one case, a client was forced to sue Kelly in small claims court when he refused to refund an unearned fee. Subsequently, the client obtained a judgment for $2,500 plus $86 in costs.

In another case, the client paid Kelly a $6,000 advance fee, but was later told to contact his lenders directy, even though the lenders had previously denied his application for loan modifications on two properties. Kelly then had the chutzpah to offer the client (victim) a $747 refund of the $6,000 already paid for services the client didn’t receive.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Kelly by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license. In truth,

As we speak (ca. June 2013) Kelly practices at 7757 Dancy Road in San Diego, California.
