Attorney Richard Morris of Surprise, AZ; convicted felon

The state of Arizona presented Richard W. Morris with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Richard guilty of the following misconduct.

Richard pleaded guilty to the federal felony offense of misprison of felony.

The felony Richard was convicted of states in part: “Whoever having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony recognized by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2013) Richard practices with the Morris Law Firm PLLC at 13951 West Grand Avenue in Surprise, Arizona, which is suburb of Phoenix.

It must be comforting to the folks in the Phoenix area to know that there is yet another convicted felon with a law license compliment of the comedians sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court.
