The state of Texas presented Gershon D. Cohen with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law College.
The District 10 Grievance Committee found Gershon guilty of the following misconduct.
Gershon failed to carry out the contracted obligations owed to a client. Gershon also failed to hold client funds in a designated client trust account.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Commission punished Gershon by gifting him with a stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.
In truth, the comedians on the Commission didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Gershon.
