Attorney Mark Garcia of Premont, TX; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Mark E. Garcia with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Baylor University Law College.

The 79th District Court of Jim Wells County found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Commingled personal funds with client funds
  • Failed to properly disburse funds owed to a third person
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Commission punished Mark by gifting him with a stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians on the Commission didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mark.

As we speak (ca. June 2013), Mark continues to practice in the Premont, Texas area.
