Attorney Cassandra Charles of Austin; ethical leprechaun

The state of Texas presented Cassandra Fox Charles with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from St. Mary’s University Law College.

The District 9 Grievance Committee found Cassandra guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Cassandra failed to make reasonable efforts to persuade her client to take corrective action when she was in possession of confidential information that clearly established that the client commited a criminal or fraudulent act.

Cassandra also found it acceptable to encourage or permit conduct by a non-lawyer that she knew violated the attorney As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Commission punished Cassandra by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Cassandra.

As we speak (ca. June 2013), Cassandra practices with The Carlson Law Firm at 2800 South IH-35 in Austin, Texas.
