The state of Ohio presented Richard Paul Stuart with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Case Western Reserve University Law School in Cleveland.
 
The Lorain County Bar Association found Richard guilty of the following misconduct
  1. Failed to provide competent legal representation (idiot)
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Improperly prepared client agreements limiting his liability for malpractice claims
  4. Failed to keep client reasonably informed about status of legal matter
  5. Failed to inform client he did not maintain legal malpractice insurance
  6. Improperly provided financial assistance to client
  7. Misconduct involved multiple violations of the Code of Conduct
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. June 2013) Richard practices at 158-A Lear Road in Avon Lake, Ohio.
