Attorney Michael Rafferty of Memphis; tax scofflaw

The state of Tennessee provided Michael Francis Rafferty with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.

Over the course of five (5) years, Michael failed to file tax returns with the IRS, despite receiving several extensions. Put simply, Michael was a serial tax scofflaw!

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May) Michael practices at 2700 One Commerce Square in Memphis, Tennessee.
