Attorney Parrish Stanton of Brentwood, TN: ethical gremlin

The state of Tennessee provided Parrish Blade Stanton with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the Ohio Northern University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Parrish guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to communicate with client
  4. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  5. Failed to safeguard client funds
  6. Abandoned his clients
In one matter involving the beneficiary of a special needs trust, Parrish failed to provide information regarding the location of the account, confirmation of a deposit, funds available to pay for necessary medical treatment, and confirmation that title to a van had been transferred to the trust.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Parrish by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May) Parrish practices at 205 Powell Place in Brentwood, Tennessee
