Attorney Susan Hais of Saint Louis, MO; ethical gremlin, repeater

The state of Missouri presented Susan Hais with a law license in 1975 after she graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

Susan received a complimentary reprimand and was fined $25,000 by Judge Barbara Wallace for improper procurement of clients and improper use of emails in another case.

St. Louis County Circuit Judge Barbara Wallace said “The court is shocked at the conduct of the Hais Firm, primarily that of lead counsel Susan Hais.”

Judge Wallace went on to say, “Clearly the credible evidence, and very specifically this response by Ms. Hais herself, indicates knowledge of the content of the emails, possession, rather than deletion of the emails, intent to use the emails to hurt a litigant, and a consciousness that there was something just not right about having the emails of the litigant and his attorneys.”

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel charged Susan with the following misconduct.

Susan and her so-called law firm are accused of misconduct arising from a divorce case wherein Susan represented Jill Selsor, the wife of St. Louis attorney Robert Selsor.

All that’s left now is to see what, if any punishment the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court mete out to Susan the Repeater.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Susan practices with Hais, Hais, Goldberger, and Coyne PC at 222 South Central Avenue in Saint. Louis, Missouri.

On her self-serving website at www.hhgc-law.com, Susan makes no mention of the aforementioned $25,000 sanction she received from Judge Wallace for engaging in egregious misconduct. As lead partner in the firm, Susan apparently decided to conceal this information so as to not limit the firm’s future victim pool.
