Attorney John O’Brien III of Wynnewood, PA; ethical goblin
The state of Pennsylvania presented John O’Brien III with a law license in 1977.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.
Johnny denied that he deposited personal funds into client trust accounts to avoid attachment or garnishment attempts by his creditors. Clearly, Johnny missed his calling as a standup comedian.
As one would suspect, this wasn’t John’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition from the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for engaging in the same misconduct aforementioned.
Because Attorney Misfits in Pennsylvania are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Johnny was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Robert by gifting him with a stayed 1-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Supreme Court didn’t mete any meaningful punishment to Johnny.
As we speak (ca. March 2013) Johnny practices with O’Brien & O’Brien Associates at 257 East Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
