Attorney Daniel Nagel of Bridgeport, CT; serial liar

The state of Connecticut provided Thomas J. Ryan with a law license in 1973.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Daniel guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  3. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
In one matter, Daniel routinely represented a bank in foreclosure actions. Daniel failed to file seven (7) foreclosure actions on behalf of the bank, although he falsely represented to the bank that the matters had in fact been filed.

Danny’s misrepresentations (lies) to the bank were contained in cumulative email reports that were submitted to the bank on a monthly basis, and spanned approximately twelve to fourteen months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Daniel by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Daniel practices with Cohen & Wolf PC at 1115 Broad Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
