Attorney Morton Rivkind of Miami; repeat offender, cokehead

 
The state of Arizona presented Morton Rivkind with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Emory University Law School.
 
The Arizona State Bar found Morton guilty of the following misconduct.
 
Morton’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
Morton failed to properly investigate his client’s case in that he failed to interview witnesses whom he had represented to the court existed, and neglected to develop several investigatory leads relevant to his client’s defense.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Morton by gifting him with a complimentary censure
 
Morton’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
Morton was found guilty of attempted possession of cocaine, a class five felony. The trial court suspended sentencing and placed Morton on 3 years probation. Additionally, the trial judge revoked Morton’s license to practice law
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Morton by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. May 2013) Morton practices at 1481 NW North River Drive in Miami, Florida.
