The state of California provided Ronald Joseph Britt with a law license in 974 after he graduated from McGeorge Law School at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento.
The State Bar Court found Ronald guilty of the following misconduct.
Ronald failed to promptly transfer a client’s home into a trust and failed to respond to her repeated inquiries.
Ronald performed no services of value to a client who hired him to dissolve a domestic partnership, and he didn’t refund an advance $5,000 fee for 18 months.
In another matter, Ronald did not respond to a petition in a family law matter for 18 months, nor did he respond to numerous voice messages, text messages and emails from the client (victim).
Ronald also did not pursue an elder abuse/fraud action or a probate case for another client, who was unable to communicate with him for months. Ronald did not refund the client’s unearned fee or return her file.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Ronald by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license. In truth,
