Attorney R. Gregory Stutz of Denver; deadbeat loser

The state of Colorado presented R. Gregory Stutz with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law College.

Disciplinary Counsel found Stutz guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Stutz asked a client to loan him $10,000 with first advising the client to seek independent legal advice regarding the loan. Stutz also failed to obtain the client’s written consent to the terms of the loan.

And lastly, Stutz failed to make payments according to the agreed-upon timetable.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfit sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Stutz by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2013), R. Gregory practices with Stutz, Miller & Urtz, LLC at 1660 Lincoln Street in Denver, Colorado.

On his self-serving website at www.stutzmillerurtz.com, R. Gregory and his firm make no mention of the misconduct aforementioned. Apparently, R. Gregory and his partners chose to conceal this information so as to not limit their future victim pool.
