Attorney Terry Stranke of Mantua, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois presented Terry Lynn Stranke with a law license in 1976. The state of Ohio presented Nicholas with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Northwestern University Law School.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Terry guilty of the following conduct.

Terry found it acceptable to share legal fees with non-attorneys. He also neglected two client matters involving bankruptcy filings. He permitted bankruptcy petitions to be filed without meeting with or speaking to his clients.

Terry also engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while his license was suspended.

The Supreme Court of Illinois suspended Terry’s law license for 6-months based on his misconduct in Ohio, which is the same punishment he received from the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Terry practices with the Law Office of Terry L. Stranke at 10720 Infirmary Road in Mantua, Ohio.
