Attorney Fadi Zanayed of Palos Hills, IL; ethical leprechaun
The state of Illinois presented Fadi Zanayed with a law license in 1985.
The Disciplinary Commission found Fadi guilty of the following misconduct.
While representing a client in a dissolution of marriage case, Fadi forged and notarized the signatures of a third party on pleadings filed in court.
In addition, Fadi made false statements to the trial court and the Disciplinary Commission. Fadi attempted to obstruct the ethics investigation by providing funds (bribery) to a complaining witness.
Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct, Fadi was never criminally charged with forgery or obstruction of justice.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Fadi by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. May 2013) Fadi practices at 8150 West 111th Street in Palos Hills, Illinois.
