The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found Thomas guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Thomas represented a client in a bankruptcy filing. At the time of the filing, the client owed Thomas attorney fees for time spent on another matter.
Thomas found it acceptable to lie to his client that the $4,000 he owed to him for past attorney fees was not dischargeable in bankruptcy.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. May 2013), Thomas practices at 43777 North Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township, Michigan.
