Attorney Kenneth Swinkey of Monroe, MI; repeat offender

The state of Michigan presented Kenneth M. Swinkey with a law license in 1980.

The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found Kenneth guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Neglected a probate matter entrusted to him by a client
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to return client file to new attorney after being fired by his client
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Kenneth by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Kenneth’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. Kenneth previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As we speak (ca. March 2013), Kenneth is employed as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Monroe County, Michigan.
