Attorney J. Laevin Weiner of Troy, MI; thief

The state of Michigan presented J. Laevin Weiner with a law license in 1968.

The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found Weiner guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, the Weiner misappropriated (stole) $86,500 from a client’s trust account.

Because Attorney Misfits are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, the Weiner was never criminally prosecuted for grand theft.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Weiner by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2013), Weiner practices with Frank Haron Weiner PLC at 5435 Corporate Drive in Troy, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
