Attorney William Swor of Detroit; lying thief

The state of Michigan presented William W. Swor with a law license in 1972.

The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found William guilty of the following misconduct
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Knowingly made misrepresentations (lied) to client
In an attempt to conceal his lack of progress on a client’s case William found it acceptable to intentionally lie to the client about the progress of the action.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished William by gifting him with a second complimentary 2-year period of probation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board did actually mete out any meaningful punishment to William.

As we speak (ca. March 2013), William practices at 645 Griswold Street in Detroit, Michigan.
