Attorney Mario Castillo, Jr. of Laredo, TX; crook

The state of Texas presented Mario A. Castillo, Jr. with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The 341st District Court of Webb County found Mario guilty of the following misconduct.

Mario found it acceptable to submit an itemized billing statement entitled: “Summary of Services” to the court, which constituted an attempt by Mario to collect an unconscionable fee. Put simply, Mario was basically judged to be nothing more than a crook.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mario by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Mario practices law with the Law Office of Mario A. Castillo, Jr. at 401 East Hillside Road in Laredo, Texas.
