Attorney Lawrence Greenwood of San Antonio; ethical dwarf
The state of Texas presented Lawrence Greenwood with a law license in 1992 after he graduatged from the University of Denver Law School.
The Disciplinary Committee found Lawrence guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Lawrence was hired by a client accused of being delinquent on his child support payments.
Lawrence failed to file a formal appearance with the court on the client’s behalf, or ensure that the client received credit for Social Security disability payments paid on behalf of the minor child.
In addition, Lawrence failed to respond to repeated requests for information from the client. He was ordered to refund $500 of the fees the client (victim) paid to him for his worthless services.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Lawrence by gifting him with a complimentary fully probated suspension of his law license.
In truth, the comedians sitting on the Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lawrence.
