Attorney Lauren Underwood of Bingham Farms, MI; ethical dwarf

The state of Michigan presented Lauren M. Underwood with a law license in 1991.

The Attorney Disciplinary Board found Lauren guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Neglected a client’s legal matter
  2. Failed to seek lawful objectives of his client
  3. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
  4. Failed to comply with client’s reasonable requests for information
  5. Failed to explain matter to client to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding representation
  6. Knowingly revealed client confidences or secrets
  7. Provided financial assistance to client in connection with pending litigation
  8. Knowingly made misrepresentations (lied) of fact surrounding ethics investigation
  9. Failed to respond to request for info from Disciplinary agency (Up Yours, said Lauren!)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Lauren by gifting her with a complimentary 180-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) Lauren practices at 30100 Telegraph Road in Bingham Farms, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
