Attorney Dennis Carey of Los Angeles; thief
The state of California provided Dennis A. Carey with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles.
The California Bar Court found Dennis guilty of the following misconduct.
Dennis failed to file quarterly probation reports, make restitution and complete six hours of MCLE (continuing legal education) courses in regards to a prior finding of misconduct.
Dennis’ prior discipline was imposed due to his failure to comply with the conditions of an agreement in lieu of discipline, charging and collecting an unconscionable fee (crook), failing to return funds and files to a client, and representing clients with conflicts of interest.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary 23-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. March 2013) Dennis practices at 21734 Ybarra Road in Woodland Hills, California, which is located in Los Angeles County.
