Attorney Shalond Essix of Baton Rouge; thief

The state of Louisiana presented Shalond Nichelle Essix with a law license in 1998.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Shalond guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Neglected a legal matter
  2. Failed to communicate with client
  3. Failed to refund an unearned fee (crook)
  4. Failed to properly terminate representation of two clients
As a consequence a of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Shalond by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Shalond.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Shalond practices with The Essix Law Firm, APLC at 465 North 7th Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
