The state of Wisconsin presented Craig A. Kubiak with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Craig was stopped by the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department while driving. Officers responded following a report of a one-car accident, which occurred shortly before 3:00 pm.

Subsequently, Craig pleaded no contest (guilty in effect) of operating a vehicle while under the influence, second offense. Craig was sentenced to 30 days in jail and his license was revoked for 18 months. Contrary to the rules, Craig failed to report his criminal conviction to the Office of Lawyer Registration.

Craig fled the scene of the accident, but was later arrested after his car struck a telephone pole. Craig was charged with two counts of hit and run along with a DUI charge.
