Attorney Michael Motylinski of St. Thomas, VI; ethical dwarf  The state of Ohio presented Michael Motylinski with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Case Western University Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.
In one mater, the New York law firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC referred its client, Roth Industries, to Michael to handle a collection matter on a contingent-fee basis. The law firm sent Michael a check for $125 for court costs. Michael then filed a complaint in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in Cleveland on behalf of Roth Industries.
Two months later, Michael received an offer of employment in the Virgin Island that he accepted. One month later, Michael moved out of the country
Over a two month period of time, Michael failed to respond to numerous phone calls and emails regarding the status of the Roth case from the Bond law firm in New York.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary stazyed180-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any significant punishment to Michael.
As we speak (ca. March 2013) Michael is employed as Corporate Counsel for Glacial Energy at 5326 Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
